Meet Kylie Tate, the creative behind Sapphire Designs and Interiors. Why Sapphire? It’s her birthstone.
Kylie’s passion for interior design began long before Sapphire was born – starting with a deep appreciation for beautiful spaces and the way they make people feel.
With a degree in Commerce and a background in Marketing/ IT, the construction of her first home ignited an instinctive eye for detail and she realized her passion and natural gravitation towards creating interiors that blended functionality with emotional warmth and elegance.
After relocating to Singapore for 7 years with her young family, Kylie longed to reestablish her roots back in Australia. This desire deepened her passion for creating spaces that feel like home. It was during this time that she found a house needing to reclaim its beauty. This reignited her passion for design and blending personal storytelling with timeless interiors and a desire to create a beautiful home for her family.
Kylie believes that great design isn’t all about following trends – it’s about understanding how people live, what brings them joy and how a space can tell their unique story.
